"HOW MUCH ARE A PAIR OF CUSTOMS?"

"WHAT KIND OF SHOES ARE BEST FOR CUSTOMIZING? IS THERE A SPECIFIC FABRIC THAT IS IDEAL?"

WE PAINT A WIDE VARIETY OF BRANDS, STYLES, AND FABRICS. NIKE, JORAN, VANS, TIMBERLAND; YOU NAME IT WE'LL PAINT IT. WE PRIMARILY USE ANGELUS ACRYLIC PAINT WHICH IS IDEAL FOR FABRICS AND LEATHERS. WE ALSO FINISH ALL OF OUR CUSTOMS WITH LIQUIDKICKS FINISHER WHICH ENSURES THE DESIGN WILL HOLD. 

"CAN I SEND YOU SHOES I ALREADY OWN OR HAVE RECENTLY PURCHASED?"

ABSOLUTELY! WE JUST ASK THAT THEY ARE IN GOOD CONDITION OR NEW! JUST CHOOSE THE "ILL SEND YOU MY SHOES" OPTION WHEN FILLING OUT AN INQUIRY FORM.

"I need my shoes  ASAP, can you do them first?"

ORDERS ARE COMPLETED AS THEY ARE RECEIVED. IF YOU ARE NEEDING TO EXPEDITE YOUR ORDER ADDITIONAL FEES WILL BE APPLIED TO "SKIP THE LINE". "What can I get painted on my shoes?"

WE CAN PAINT NEARLY ANYTHING THAT YOU CAN THINK OF, BUT THERE ARE SOME LIMITATIONS. MY FAVORITE DESIGNS TO PAINT ARE FLORAL PATTERNS AND UNIQUE CUSTOMER REQUESTS. FILL OUT AN INQUIRE FORM IF YOU WANT TO KNOW IF WE CAN MAKE YOUR CONCEPT INTO A REALITY.

"Can you paint my shoes the same as another design I saw by a different artist?"

THE SIMPLE ANSWER IS NO. WE DO NOT RECREATE WORK THAT IS NOT OURS. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN A DESIGN YOU SAW BY ANOTHER ARTIST PLEASE GO ASK THEM TO CREATE IT FOR YOU.

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN GETTING A RUFF CUSTOM DESIGN WE WOULD ABSOLUTELY LOVE TO WORK WITH YOU TO CREATE A COMPLETELY CUSTOM PIECE JUST FOR YOU. IF YOU HAVE REFERENCES YOU WOULD LIKE TO PULL IDEAS FROM PLEASE SHARE THEM, BUT WE TAKE PRIDE IN OUR OWN CUSTOM DESIGNS AND THE CUSTOM EXPERIENCE WITH EACH CLIENT. 

"How long does it take to complete a pair of shoes?"

EACH PAIR VARIES ON COMPLEXITY. WE TRY TO COMPLETE OUR CUSTOMS BETWEEN 4-6 WEEKS OF AN ORDER BEING PLACED. THIS MAY FLUCTUATE DEPENDING ON HOW BUSY WE ARE. DURING HOLIDAY SEASON IT IS BETTER TO PLACE AN ORDER IN ADVANCE TO BE SURE IT IS AT YOUR DOORSTEP BY THE DAY YOU WANT IT. WE COMMUNICATE DURING OUR ENTIRE PROCESS AND WE WILL MAKE SURE THAT EVERYTHING IS CORRECT WITH YOUR ORDER. ARRIVAL TIME MAY ALSO DEPEND ON POSTAL SERVICE, WE TRY TO GET ALL OF OUR PACKAGES SENT WITH 2-DAY SHIPPING, BUT SOMETIMES THAT DOESN'T WORKOUT HOW WE PLAN IT, SO PLEASE KEEP IN MIND WHEN PLACING AN ORDER. 

"Does the artwork last/will it hold up?"

WE USE HIGH QUALITY ACRYLIC PAINS AND FINISHERS TO CUSTOMIZE OUR PRODUCTS. THEY ARE VERY STRONG AND DURABLE. THE ARTWORK SHOULD WITHSTAND NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR ASSOCIATED WITH WEARING YOUR SNEAKERS. THE MORE YOU WEAR THEM THE MORE WEAR THEY WILL SHOW. REMEMBER THESE CUSTOMS ARE PIECES OF ARTWORK AND SHOULD BE TREATED WITH CARE IF YOU WANT THEM TO LAST A LONG TIME. THE ARTWORK SHOULD LAST AS LONG AS THE SNEAKERS DO. PLEASE EMAIL US IF THERE IS ANY ABNORMAL DAMAGE TO YOUR SNEAKERS AND WE WILL BE SURE TO WORK IT OUR WITH YOU!.

"Will the paint wash off?"

NO. AGAIN, THE PAIN SHOULD LAST AS LONG AS YOU TAKE CARE OF YOUR SHOES. HOWEVER, WE STILL DO NOT RECOMMEND TREKKING THROUGH THE SNOW, PUDDLE JUMPING, OR SWIMMING IN YOUR RUFF CUSTOMS.

"What other things are you able to customize besides shoes?"

WE ARE ABLE TO CUSTOMIZE ALMOST ANYTHING YOU CAN THINK OF. WE HAVE DONE MULTIPLE LONGBOARDS. AND WE RECENTLY GOT INTO CUSTOMIZING HEADPHONES LIKE BEATS AND SKULLCANDY. WE LOVE THE CHALLENGE OF NEW MEDIUMS AND IF YOU HAVE AN IDEA PLEASE FILL OUT ONE OF OUR INQUIRE FORMS AND LETS GET TO CREATING!

DUE TO THE CONSTANT COMMUNICATION WE HAVE DURING THE ENTIRE RUFF CUSTOMS PROCESS ALL ORDERS ARE FINAL. GIVEN THE CONSULTATION AND UPDATES THROUGHOUT THE CUSTOM YOU WILL KNOW EXACTLY WHAT YOU ARE GETTING AND BE ABLE TO MAKE CHANGES OR ADDITIONS ALONG THE WAY DEPENDING ON THE PRICING TIER. IF AN ORDER IS DAMAGED DURING SHIPPING OR ANY OTHER COMPLICATIONS ARISE, IT IS THE CUSTOMER'S JOB TO COMMUNICATE THAT IMMEDIATELY WITH US SO WE CAN HANDLE THE SITUATION ACCORDINGLY.
